Lol what tachometer?
You have no idea how much it bugs me I don't have one.
And I don't have a working temp gauge.
So it goes in the life of owning a hooptie.

What car is this in?

My '94 GMC Safari.
It's funny, because they were sold with manual transmissions, but no tach.

That light on the dashboard... You might want to look into it.

Same with my echo. Auto, No tach, no temp gauge (idiot lights).

It's because I don't have it running but in the "Run" position.
I have yet to see that light ever come on except when I start it.

Oh, okay. Carry on, then.

My mom's Vue only has three gauges (Speed, tach, and fuel) everything else is an idiot light and it bugs me to no end.

I only have two (fuel and speed).

I've got this one beat, unfortunately I don't have the pics to prove it. I used to own a 1983 Mitsubishi Tredia. This car was a completely stripped model. In place of the tach, I had a big ass clock. It was a running joke with my friends. And yes, it was a manual. You just got to learn to shift by the sound of the engine in that one.

Get a ricer tach like I did for my base model accent

my buddy had a 99 f150 (sport?) that was stick w/ no tach. And I drove around my honda 599 (motorcycle,) with no tach for the two years I had it. You can generally feel from the throttle position and engine sounds where you need to be shifting, at least I feel like I did/can. Never had a problem with either vehicle (and I shifted w/o clutch on that bike all the damn time.)

That's really the only way I've ever shifted a car, mostly in games where I don't wanna look in the corner for the tach.
Sometimes I'll screw around and use the 1-2-D-OD as a manual-ish shifter and do it by sound.

You should see it when it's off. It points at 90 on the speedo.

The Sniper doesn't have one. Over time, it's made me a better driver, but I still can't stand not having it. The things I can't do without a tachometer, yeaaargh!

Nah Brah, mid dash tach
